Canterbury Club, an Episcopal, LGBTQ-inclusive, and theologically progressive college and young-adult ministry, welcomes you. We are committed to building a loving, supportive, and anti-racist community that is grounded in the Good News of God in Jesus Christ, acting through us in the world.

Most of our participants are students at Cal Poly State University or Cuesta College, but all young adults (ages 18-30) are welcome, regardless of whether you are in college or not.

We are a ministry of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, San Luis Obispo Deanery, and the Episcopal Diocese of El Camino Real. But we’re not all Episcopalians, and you don’t have to be one to join us — check out our Mission Statement to see more of what we’re about.

Canterbury Club is supported by individual donors, by the local Episcopal churches in the San Luis Obispo Deanery, and by the Diocese of El Camino Real. We have a half-time chaplain, one young-adult intern, and one young-adult peer minister (see “People“).
