Canterbury Club
Canterbury Club is a loving, inclusive, college and young-adult Christian community with its home base at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in downtown SLO. We are committed to progressive Christian ministry and ideals, and our theology is grounded in the Good News of God in Jesus Christ, acting through the Holy Spirit, who empowers us in our ministries in the world.
Most of our participants are students at Cal Poly State University or Cuesta College, but all young adults (ages 18-30) are welcome, regardless of whether you are in college or not.
Canterbury Club is supported by individual donors, by the local Episcopal churches in the San Luis Obispo Deanery, by the Diocese of El Camino Real, and by a grant from the national Episcopal Church. There is a half-time chaplain and two young-adult peer ministers (see "People").
